What is Radiology/CT Scans?

Radiology represents a branch of medicine that employs imaging technology to diagnose and treat diseases. A CT scan, or computed tomography scan, is a type of radiological imaging that allows detailed images of internal organs, bones, soft tissue, and blood vessels. CT scans are more detailed than regular X-rays and are often used to quickly inspect injuries from accidents or to diagnose diseases such as cancer or heart disease.
